Combining upbeat, synth-driven pop sounds, with elements of new-wave indie, electro and post-punk, "Tough Times" is due for release on 9th May 2011.
Compromising of Will Durzu and Timothy Walter, Personal Space Invaders came together through meeting in various musical outfits and a shared passion for "seething electronics and dirty beats".
Since then they have taken influence from the 80s New Romantics and Post-Punks, and released their debut single "Not My Boyfriend" in 2009, which received support from Radio 1's Nick Grimshaw and James Theaker of NME Radio, as well as T4 presenter Rick Edwards describing them as one of his favourite live acts of 2010.
Creating a musical mould of 80s electro, with dark and demure atmospheres that flicker with moments of modern pop and strong dance elements.
"Tough Times" will be available as a digital self-release on the 9th May 2011, accompanied by a Max Ling remix of "Tough Times" and previously unreleased track "Working".
