Along with the album, Berkeley also wrote an accompanying book of short stories (one for each song on the album) entitled, 140 Goats and a Guitar, the Stories behind Some Kind of Cure; all while living for a year in a remote 35-person mountain village on the Mediterranean island of Corsica.

Yahoo! Music named Some Kind Of Cure one of the 'Albums That Should Be In Every Home' last week and David recently discussed fatherhood with PASTE Magazine.

In addition to the airwaves and print, Berkeley's songs are being remixed by some of the world's biggest DJs.

Tiesto has remixed his tracks, Paul Oakenfeld is mashing him up and Armin van Buuren has been playing a Steve Brian remix of "Fire Sign" to millions of people on his international radio show and during performances.

Armin said, "Steve's crisp, lush production and David Berkeley's outstanding vocals are a match made in heaven - and the track made famous by the likes of the hit TV show 'Without A Trace' is now ready to destroy dancefloors across the world."

David even performed live vocal of "Fire Sign" along with DJ Sean Tyas at Webster Hall in NYC last month. Check it out below!

Some Kind Of Cure has been covered by The Huffington Post, Paste, American Songwriter, Relix, SF Chronicle and Boston Globe, to name a few, and is receiving substantial airplay at Triple A and Folk radio.

David's been on the road all year supporting the album, stopping by Daytrotter, Acoustic Café, Art Of The Song (NPR), Acoustic Sunrise, WFUV (New York), WXPN (Philly), WERS (Boston), MPR (Maine) and a slew of morning shows.

David's backing band on Some Kind Of Cure includes drummer Kevin O'Donnel (Andrew Bird), vocalist Kim Taylor (Over The Rhine), Lex Price on mandolin (Mindy Smith), Peter Bradley Adams (EastMountainSouth), and trumpeter Jordan Katz (De La Soul).

The Denver Post's REVERB reviewed a recent Colorado performance noting, "The music itself was a soothing cup of tea on a cold, rainy, May evening. Berkeley's voice was warm and startlingly rich as he sang about love gained, lost, and fought over - his songs stalk the battlefield of relationships."

The Philadelphia Inquirer calls Some Kind of Cure, "Sensational," and the San Francisco Chronicle calls David Berkeley, "A musical poet." Boston Phoenix declares him, "The best of the young American songwriters, a voice full of feeling and a big, big heart. And the balls to say what he thinks."
