Three Days Grace's single "Chalk Outline" reaches #1 at the Active Rock Radio Chart

Multi-platinum selling and award-winning recording artist Three Days Grace's single "Chalk Outline" tops the Active Radio format with the first single "Chalk Outline" from their forthcoming studio album entitled Transit of Venus set for release October 2nd on RCA Records.

The Canadian rock band embarks on new creative ground with Transit of Venus, recording for the first time with acclaimed producer Don Gilmore (Linkin Park, Hollywood Undead, Bullet for My Valentine), at Revolution Studios in Toronto.

The album's first single entitled "Chalk Outline" reached #1 on the Active Radio Chart on September 12th and was #1 most added at Modern and Active Rock Radio formats its first week out.

Three Days Grace will also head out on a special and intimate 18-city tour in support of their new album.

Hailed as music's premier rock heavyweights, the quartet will kick off the tour in Dallas, Texas on Monday, October 8, 2012 and make stops in multiple cities across the country including New York, Philadelphia, Minneapolis, and Washington, D.C.
