Funny, political, percussionist. He’s blues meets dance meets sarcasm

Freddy Bastone has been djing all over the world for the last 25 yrs; DANCETERIA, PALLADIUM, AREA, TUNNEL, GARAGE, MUDD CLUB, BETTER DAYS, THE WHISKY, HEAVEN, HACIENDA, GENISIS, MR.FUGIS, SPACE, SAND BAR, blablabla} has had ..1’s and top 20’s dance records through out the late 80’s till now and continuing {paul hardcatle, will to power, nu shooz, taffy, carolyn harding, dread flinstone, boy george, paul weller, when in rome, blaze, lolita holiday, corperation of one, res, jamiroqui, miss elliot, duran duran, nora jones, radio head, rob thomas, jewel, lil kim, ect.. ect….ect…} his new project “BASTONE AND THE ALL NIGHT KEMIST” is a mixture of his many influences. His music always makes you get up and dance. He typically starts his set real deep…moving to soulful, then alternative, then at the midway point bastone’s 3 piece band really brings the dj show to a LIVE show.

Freddy is quickly building serious acting credits which include: The Sopranos, Law & Order Criminal Intent, SVU. He is currently starring in the IFC movie, “Crystal Vision”

He has theater credits include a UK run of “Nil By Mouth, OB’S of Hurly Burly, Those The River Keeps, The Bear and Naked, and others.

Freddy is currently signed with UFO records and in late May, early June, filming begins on Freddy’s incredible track, “Cowboys in Arabia,” a political tune that not only rocks, it quakes. It’s due to be released in mid-June, just before the Democratic National Convention in Denver. Good timing for Mr. Bastone because this brilliant piece of work will bring him some much deserved publicity and a lot of reaction(s).
