The first webisode, “The Making Of Something Else – Magic,” aired January 12, 2009 through the Musicane widget at www.robinthicke.com, as well as his other social network websites (MySpace, Facebook etc). New episodes will debut weekly.

The webisode is actual footage shot during the making of the smash Top 5 Billboard album ‘Something Else’, and gives fans a unique perspective into Robin in the midst of his creative process.

Robin also appeared on a more traditional TV, performing the song “Magic” as well as the song “Sweetest Love” on ABC’s season premiere of The Bachelor.

Musicane, the interactive social shopping site and music widget, has been hailed as a little travelling website and a virtual mobile iTunes by publications such as Advertising Age and Billboard. The company has created the first no redirection music widget and digital store where a music shopping/retail experience can happen anywhere on the web. With deals with Universal Music, Sony and EMI in place, the new company has already seen over a half of a million fans download the Musicane widget. The widget is also now a key for major artists such as Soulja Boy, The All-American Rejects, and Lil Wayne to promote and sell their own music on their individual websites. Now with Musicane’s new consumer-friendly upgrade anyone can use the Musicane widget to upload any content available on Musicane and share the content friends anywhere online be it Myspace, Facebook, a blog or personal website.
