Rolling Stone magazine has picked "In Every Direction" as #41 on their list of Top 50 tracks for 2010, saying, "Pale-voiced Swede José González kicks up the volume for a supremely pretty folk swirl."

MTV Iggy invited Junip out to Brooklyn Lyceum, an early twentieth century bathhouse turned performance space, during their recent North American tour to film the band performing songs from their album FIELDS.

In Los Angeles, Junip dropped by Village Studios for a session with well-known tastemaker, Nic Harcourt and his curated site, Live Buzz. For this set, Junip plays three songs including, "Without You", "It's Alright", and "Sweet And Bitter". In addition to Junip, Live Buzz features sessions with the likes of David Gray, Corrine Bailey Rae, The Drums, and many more.

Junip wrapped up their fall North American tour on November 24th in New York City. Big Ass Lens was there to document the evening with Junip from start to finish. The intimate footage and interview of the band backstage, sound checking, and performing is gorgeous and well worth a watch.

The New York Times was also there on the eve of Thanksgiving, noting, "Junip allowed itself to get caught up in the momentum built into its cerebral constructions, to let the rhythm drive motion, to make the songs crest and breathe and crest again." In San Francisco, Mother Jones called Junip's set "Hypnotic".

"This is well-appointed, intelligent music that indulges in some stargazing prog exploration." - The Village Voice
