Neon Indian to release NEW Psychic Chasms EP

Neon Indian

An elusive new project between a musician in Austin and a video artist in Brookyln.

Neon Indian delivers equal parts synthetic nostalgia, dreampop lullabies, and grinding guitar noise to create something eerier than the sum of its parts.

After meeting one summer in Texas, the guy/girl duo decided to maintain correspondence via various individual projects until eventually starting a band.

Using field recordings, record samples, and a collection of bizarre synth sounds, their bedroom ballads have already forged the upcoming 'Psychic Chasms' EP, set for release early summer.

They've been compared to New Order, Future Bible Heroes, and most recently said to sound like a saw-wave cutting a Doobie Brother's song in half. Expect much racket to be had from this fresh faced crew. It's merely the beginning.

The first EP single, "Deadbeat Summer" will feature a self made music video and will be premiered in Late April.

"I've got my guesses as to who these guys are, but for now, just enjoy these spacey, wistfully nostalgic disco-psych jams" - Gorilla vs Bear

"I love Neon Indian." - Reuben Wu of LadyTron
