There are many familiar and not so familiar bands and artists with singles ready for their February 2007 release here in the UK. It’s interesting to see Boy George on the list – singing with Amanda Ghost on their new single “Time Machine” set for release on February 5th. I had seen them perform on the Jonathan Ross show a few weeks ago and it was a very good song and performance.

As a Hendrix fan I’ll have to look into this Acoustic Ladyland band with their upcoming release “Cuts and Lies” out on February 12th (March 5th?). Of course Jimi Hendrix released his album Electric Ladyland back in 1968 and it seems Acoustic Ladyland may be fans as well.

After his short stint in the UK Celebrity Big Brother house, Donny Tourette and his Towers of London are set to release their single, “I’m a Rat” also out on the 12th. They’re a fun band – a good healthy punk and rock mix of Sex Pistols, New York Dolls and Motley Crue.

There’s always a lot to take in with upcoming releases and I’m looking forward to hearing more new bands and their singles. From UKMix.org following are the upcoming UK singles releases for February 2007:
