Little Brother to perform MySpace Release Show - Honolulu, HI

MySpace Music is proud to announce that North Carolina hip-hop crew Little Brother will be performing a free show for their MySpace friends at Loft Lounge and Gallery in Honolulu, HI, on August 16, 2008 - a show being powered by Saints Row 2.
Tickets are available for the 18+ free performance at Dig Lifestyles in the Ward Warehouse.
Comprised of Phonte and Rapper Big Pooh, Durham, North Carolina's Little Brother revert back more to the transcendent, feel-good Native Tongues aesthetic of the late-'80s/early-'90s rather than the Dirty South sound of their regional, hip-hop contemporaries.
Carrying on the tradition of their hip-hop "big brothers" such as De La Soul and A Tribe Called Quest, Little Brother are continuing to keep the movement alive through their consistent, quality output that nods to tradition yet makes progressive strides for hip-hop as a whole.
Featuring appearances from Mos Def, Talib Kweli, Skillz and Rhymefest, among others, Little Brother's latest 'And Justus For All' is more of what you'd expect from NC's finest - solid musical production through its duration and insightful lyricism that is current with the times.
