Capitol Records Nashville recording artist Luke Bryan has another 'first' to celebrate this week with the RIAA certifying his single "Do I" GOLD, signifying sales of more than 500,000 digital singles.
This comes on the heels of "Do I" clinching the #1 spot on the country radio chart.
On Monday January 25, 2010, the Georgia native will release the follow-up single "Rain Is A Good Thing" to radio listeners.
Bryan hits the road this Saturday in Macon, GA opening for the much anticipated Jason Aldean "Wide Open Arena Tour."
His second album, Doin' My Thing, for Capitol Records Nashville landed at #2 on the Billboard Country Albums chart and #6 on the all-genre Billboard Top 200 album chart selling over 57,000 albums in its first week of release, more than doubling the first week sales of his debut album I'll Stay Me in 2007.
