"Where's My Money" is available from the 21st June 2010
Ladies and gentlemen, yes it's me, Peter Dickson off your telly box, taking time out from my hectic glamorous schedule to talk to you about a band called Pleasure Mob.
They are asking a question that's on everybody's lips, a question that society has been asking since the dawn of time. Spiritual leaders, prophets and scientists have yet to crack it, Einstein came close but ultimately failed to answer it, a question so big, civilizations have risen and fallen in its presence.
That question is:
Where's My Ruddy Money???!!! (The Voiceover man / 2010)
WMM is the second single from London based trio Pleasure Mob, a follow up to their debute "So Hard". It will be released digitally in June 2010 through RMSMBike records and AWOL distribution.
WMM has become a live favourite with their growing live following, the lyrics, half growled and demanding, half composed rally cry, instantly resonate with audiences. It is a brass and puerile statement on the surface, but maybe that's the intension, meeting an ever-spiraling capital-driven world head on.
Strong melodies and powerhouse rhythms drive this potent song, and a thumping crescendo ensures listeners get the message. Confident production means Pleasure Mob are thriving in the studio and 2010 will see them work toward the completion of their first EP.
Pleasure Mob's "Where's My Money" also features an unlikely ally in "The Voiceover man" who has provided a wonderfully spooky introduction to the track - – talks for a remix are afoot.
"Where's My Money" will be available for digital download through all good online retailers.
