Pleasure Mob to headline Monto Water Rats, London, Saturday 29th August 2009
Three piece Pleasure Mob are a dance, electro, rock, new wave outfit hailing from London and the sunny West Country. With a variety of high profile shows under their belt in London and building critical support from the music press, Pleasure Mob have been a “one to watch” for the last couple of months.
Currently working hard in the studio on their debute single “So Hard” set for release in late 09, Pleasure Mob have already been tipped from big things in 2010!
Supporting The Do at the Barfly only last month, Pleasure Mob have now been given their own headline show @ The Water Rats! Whatever next!
Doors: 7pm
Stage: 11pm

David Leonard (Tiscali Music) "2009’s dance-rock diamond in rough, Pleasure Mob have something out of reach for most current bands; relevance with credibility. If you value new music you'll be going to a riff-disco made by Pleasure Mob".
Ruth Book (Rock Midgets) "Pleasure Mob are a strange beast in these hard, cooler-than-thou times; taking the aloof cool of art school indie, but marrying it to the soulful howl of Led Zep. Less the mess it sounds, these are tunes where clinical beats betray an actual heart, not an emotionless carbon copy. A blast from a past that shows retro doesn't mean standing around on the edge of a dancefloor with your hands in your f***ing pockets."
