The nomination comes at a perfect time since Anjulie’s self-titled debut album hits stores via Hear Music.

After hitting #1 on the Billboard dance chart with “Boom” her slinky, Nancy Sinatraesque 60’s era vibe, first single, pop music alchemist Anjulie has released of her self-titled debut album from Hear Music.

mtvU recently tapped her as one of their “Freshman 5” this summer, one of five exciting new artists the channel believes are about to jump from college favorites to household names. MTV has heavily supported the Adria Petty directed video for “Boom” while featuring many songs from the album in the hit shows The Hills and The City. Additionally, VH1 played “Boom” in regular rotation and has showcased her songs on their show Tough Love.
