My Panda Shall Fly; Melodica, Melody & Me, more – Madame Jojo’s London

Melodica, Melody and Me

Bukkake is shaping up to be one of London’s most forward-thinking electronic nights, with an ambience of all things dark and moody: an arcade-esque environment with projections of anime, cult films and computer games. Driving forces are IDM ‘Intelligent Dance Music’ (think early Aphex Twin), Ambient, Minimal Techno and Dubstep, Japanese animation and cult science fiction.

Live bands set to play Bukkake at Madame Jojo’s, London Wednesday 10th September, 2008:

My Panda Shall Fly
(IDM/Electronica/Dubstep)
Sample-heavy, ambient-toned dream popsters with a unique combination of beats, wailing and guitar.

Melodica, Melody & Me
Young, exuberant folk sextet from South London: performing intricate, skanky, foot stomping folk.

Benin City
(Spoken word/Performance/A’capella/Funk)
London fivepiece whose buzzword is ‘Spoketronica’.
“Benin City mash up experience, fun and wisdom into a melting pot of afrobeat, hip hop and jazz that will make you laugh and cry while shaking your booty … have dazzled as guests on my Xfm X-Posure show.” – John Kennedy, Xfm.
