Family Force 5 to play Sonisphere Festival + 2010 UK tour dates - watch video

Fresh from a sell out stint in the UK earlier in the year supporting Cobra Starship, Family Force 5 (FF5) are bringing their explosive live show to the festival stage with a much coveted slot at Sonisphere in Knebworth Park, England.

Stuart Galbraith founder of Sonisphere said "Having followed FF5's progress in the States for many years I headed to Texas to catch their show at SXSW and I was blown away! It's great to have such an exciting live band opening the main stage at this year's Sonisphere Festival!"

The band themselves are no strangers to the festival circuit having completed stints on the AP and Warped Tours stateside, garnering great praise for their raucous, beat fuelled party rock, a party which is now heading back to the UK.

Family Force 5 are making a name for themselves in the world of modern rock. Having been signed to a major label that promised them the world, the guys in the band have taken control of their own destiny, showing the traditional music industry how it's done as an independent operation.

Owning their business, which includes a record label partnership – with Transparent Media Group and Artists Without Labels (AWAL) - demonstrative of a band committed to doing things on their own terms, and with the backing of their loyal fans, a solid work ethic and great songs, anything is possible!

This main stage performance is sure to excite the bands rapidly growing UK fan base who have packed FF5's previous tours and eagerly anticipated the bands new mini-album, released on March 15th. Kerrang! have declared of the band 'fans up and down the country [are] going mad to the Atlanta-based mobs infectious, synthed-up rock tunes' whilst Fearne Cotton has been regularly spinning new single "Fever" on her daytime Radio 1 show.

This massive festival appearance dovetails into the bands Dance or Die UK tour dates which will take in major UK cities in late July and early August.
