Bearcraft - "The Werewolf" single, video + show @ The Luminaire, London

It's twilight in the woods, where nature and the imagination run wild and unbridled. There in the mist prowls the werewolf, the first incarnation in the world of Bearcraft.

Bearcraft's debut single, "The Werewolf", will be released on April 26th 2010 on Hottwerk Records.

"The Werewolf" is the perfect union of Bearcraft's formative influences - with hypnotic drum patterns, Gallic disco basslines and cool, disembodied vocals, it tells a tale that takes us from animalistic primal urges, through folk devils, to a contemporary scene of dancing in soaring temperatures and midnight sunshine.

Watch The Werewolf video:

Bearcraft combines spectral synths and electro beats with pagan, scientific, philosophical and English folk themes.

His debut album, 'Yestreen', which will be released this summer, is a fantastical, mathematical combination of electro uppers and bewitching acoustic slow-burners spinning folk yarns with an abundance of haunting melodies and the loveliest harmonies.

'Yestreen' is a traveller's journey through the world of Bearcraft taking in various reference points as various as clairvoyance, altered states, barn owls, werewolves, castles, empty barns and retro physics theories.

So come and let "The Werewolf" guide your first steps into the domain of Bearcraft.
