Muse Black Holes & Revelations #1

Muse Black Holes and Revelations

Muse and their album Black Holes & Revelations is new in the uk album charts this week, and it's gone straight to number one. Well, no surprise here.Dave and I were lucky enough to have been at the Top of the Pops studio at the BBC as guests of the Guillemots. Of course we were there to see our friends play, but we couldn't have asked for a better day out than to also have in attendance none other than Muse who were also on the show. We are huge fans of Muse, and much to our amusement, not only did they perform one song, but five! An opportunity that not many would be able to experience since they're a stadium band and rarely (as far as I know) play intimate gigs.

Top of the Pops had recorded the performance I think to replay each song as they were to be released...not sure what they'll do now that the show is ending, but so far we've seen that at least two of the five performances have aired.

You can see one of them right here. If you look carefully, you might even see Dave's hands clapping in the air as he was right up front, while I was standing directly across from Muse, standing on the Guillemots stage after they had performed. So you won't see me. :-)
