Federal's vocal background originated from intense DJ battles in the dancehalls around the UK, Canada and America from the 80's and early 90's, where he honed his versatile skills as a MC rocking and entertain the crowds everywhere he performed. He received glowing tributes from the likes of Kiss FM's David Rodigan and a army of supporters along the way in the dance hall fraternity.

In 1995 Federal recorded "Rock To The Rhythm" for dance act Cutback. Since then "Rock To The Rhythm" has become dancefloor currency in commercial clubland in the UK and at holiday resorts from Malia to Magaluf; the acapella has been in circulation amongst Djs and producers for over a decade. This has resulted in numerous different tracks all using the same instantly recognisable chanting vocal. Acknowledging its lasting popularity amongst three generations of clubbers, leading dance label All Around The World will be commercially releasing it as a single in 2009.

LMC have produced the main mix and radio edit; their platinum selling LMC vs U2 "Take Me To The Clouds Above" reached #1 in 2004. In the last six months "Rock To The Rhythm" has been included on #1 selling compilations Clubland 14 and NRG4 as well as being a firm favourite on the recent sell out arena tour, Clubland Live 2.

The remix package includes contributions from German DJ / producer Dave Ramone, Clubland stalwarts, Friday Night Posse, Alex K and BCD vs Klubfiller. Plus bass heavy efforts from The Squatters and Nev Wright.

The single is available on CD and to digitally download from 13th April 2009.
