MySpace Music Release Show: The-Dream + special guests Kanye West, Electrik Red, more

MySpace Music is proud to announce Grammy-nominated singer, producer and songwriter, The-Dream, will be performing a free show for his MySpace Music friends to celebrate his new album 'Love vs. Money'.

The show will take place at Area night club in West Hollywood on Thursday, March 12, 2009. Admittance for the 21+ show will be handled on a first-come, first-serve basis with 200 slots available for fans that bring a printout of their MySpace profile displaying The-Dream in their top friends.

As a very special addition, Kanye West will join The-Dream on stage to perform the song "Walkin' On the Moon," as well as Electrik Red, Dwele (DJ set) and DJ Knuckles making appearances throughout the evening. The-Dream Release Show is powered by K-Mart and Protégé.

After proving himself as a masterful hit songwriter for a roster of A-list of stars, including Rihanna ("Umbrella"), Mariah Carey ("Touch My Body"), J. Holiday ("The Bed," "Suffocate"), and Beyoncé ("Single Ladies"), The-Dream is releasing his second album, 'Love Vs. Money,' arriving in the physical and digital marketplace on March 10th.

Executive produced by Island Def Jam chairman Antonio "L.A." Reid and co-produced by The-Dream and Tricky Stewart with Carlos "LOS" McKinney, the album is a futuristic mix of radio bangin' hooks that define this era. The 'Love Vs. Money' songs are rife with layered vocals, sensual yet comical lyrics and wall-shaking bass and feature cameo performances by top artists Lil' Jon, Kanye West and Mariah Carey.
