To celebrate the 25th anniversary of The Smiths seminal album, Meat Is Murder and to launch their own, Meat Is Murder 25th Anniversary UK tour, The Smiths Indeed tribute band will be performing at Salford Lads Club, St Ignatius Walk, Salford, M5 3RX on Thursday February 11th 2010 between 12 - 3pm.

In 2007, the Manchester Evening News reported that the Salford Lads Club building, which was used for the sleeve of The Smiths album, The Queen Is Dead, had come third in a nationwide hunt to find the most iconic buildings in the country.
