Google Buys YouTube

As many of you know by now, Google has bought YouTube for an extraordinary amount of money. We're talking over 1 billion dollars (in stocks) and since we're such YouTube addicts here at Band Weblogs we're hoping things continue to run the way they have been over there. In otherwords - we're hoping that the videos stay free. We've been having a ball going over old music videos and a ton of bands that we haven't seen videos for until YouTube came into existence.
Here is a video link to the founders of YouTube, Steve Chen and Chad Hurley talking about the deal and what their plans are. Pretty cool. Two very lucky guys who certainly knew what they were doing!
