Manna releases Truth Song single

Manna is set to release her second single "Truth Song" off her UK debut album on the 15th March 2010.

"Truth Song" is a dark broody rock song with emotional and down right honest delivery. Think of aggressive punky repetitive guitars, stripped down verses building towards melodic, layered and even ethereal refrains and you'll get a very rough close of idea of what Manna represents.

The first single "Some Girls/ Some Boys" helped Manna garner great attention among the UK press and industry and already picked up by the likes of The Sunday Times Culture, Q Magazine, Record of The Day and Myspace editorial. The second single shows a rockier edge to Manna, showcasing her ethereal vocals, but classic song writing style with equal dashes of elements of glamour and grunge.

Based in Helsinki Finland, Manna has just completed her sophomore album 'Songs of Hope and Desire', already released in Finland and is set for release in the UK early 2010.

Already a well known figure in her country with a debut album under her belt (a collaboration between Finland's and Sweden's top songwriters), for her second album, now responsible for all the song-writing, she has teamed up with Berlin based Kaiku Studios, (who have worked with the likes of Finnish group Le Corps Mince De Francoise among other new talent) for the albums production.

With Songs of Hope and Desire, her aim was to create her own, unique sound that mixes her love of singing, raw guitar sounds and melodies.

The Truth Song, is an utterly honest to the core rock song, which exhibits perfectly the flexibility and vulnerability and the true star quality of Manna.
