The Bassman’s band led by virtuoso jazz bassplayer Colin D’Cruz, features some of the hottest local as well as international talent. The band has been signed on by the Taj Landsend hotel on a resident contract and will perform at the Atrium Lounge Tuesdays to Sundays, 7.30pm to 11.30pm. Friday and Saturday nights will feature Australian singer Megan Perry. The rest of the week the band will perfom a wide range of instrumental nightclub standards.
Megan Perry-vocals
Megan is an amazingly talented singer with a sensational, soulful voice. She has performed on resident contracts with some of the worlds best international hotel chains in Sydney, Australia. Her repertoire includes tastefully selected pop-rock covers and will also include some of her own compositions.

Jimmy is one of Mumbai’s jazz veterans who has spent well over fourty years on hotel resident band contracts. Besides regular nightclub standards, his repertoire also covers popular tunes from different countries around the world that strike a chord with the international clientele of hotels.
Beven Fonseca-piano/keyboards
Beven is one of Mumbai’s most promising new talent. He has been playing the piano from the age of five, studying classical music initially and later switching over to pop and jazz. Besides live performances he is also an established studio artiste.
Ian Enthiado-drums/percussion
Ian started playing the drums professionally at the age of eight in the middle-east, where he was based. After moving to Mumbai he has performed regularly as a member of backup bands for some of India’s greatest artistes.
Colin D’Cruz-fretless bass
