The V Festival is almost here and the line up this year is one to impress. If you’re looking to buy tickets now, they seem to be close to selling out so you might want to start making plans ASAP! To check ticket availability go to http://www.seetickets.com/see/ or www.ticketmaster.co.uk
For those who are already ticket holders for the festival which is taking place Saturday August 19th and Sunday the 20th at Hylands Park, Chelmsford: Westford Park, Staffordshire, you’re in for what looks to be a great time.

For more information regarding where and when each band is playing go to the official V Festival website. The V Stage and Channel 4 stage looks to be holding some of the bigger names but the other stages should be interesting, too.
We saw Norway based band Lorraine at the Lovebox Festival and it looks like they’re going to be on the Virgin Mobile Union stage as well as The Young Knives who happen to be from Oxford which is very good to see. The other Oxford band playing on ‘the big stage’ is one you might have heard of - Radiohead!
Speaking of Radiohead - since they’re from Oxford and one of the headliners at the V fest, here’s the video for their beautiful, ‘Pyramid Song’. Also-they have a blog called Dead Air Space which is definitely worth checking out.
