President Obama requests copy of Corrigan Brothers album 'An Irishman invented Rock and Roll'

Irish Prime Minister Brian Cowen presented a copy of Corrigan Brothers cd single entitled "There's no one as Irish as Barack Obama" to President Obama in the White House on Saint Patrick's day. (see Washington Post Article 18th March.)
On March 20th, an Obama aide has contacted the band for a copy of their new album entitled 'An Irishman invented Rock and Roll'.
A spokesperson for Corrigan Brothers advised that the band are overjoyed, Ger Corrigan lead singer said "to have your cd single presented to the President of the United States is an honor that few artists achieve but to have him request a copy of the album is overwhelming and a most wonderful experience". There is one on the way to the White House by courier, continued Ger "and we are available at a moments notice to play for him in the White House".
Corrigan Brothers song has enjoyed over five million youtube hits and the band played at three inauguration events in DC in January.
