The Pigeon Detectives are a hot up and coming indie band in the UK with their latest single, “Romantic Type” set for release on February 26th. They’ve already released a new video for “Romantic Type” that’s been receiving plenty of air-play on UK TV.

When I had first heard about The Pigeon Detectives I couldn’t help but be a little bit curious about who was behind such a fun and yet bizarre name. It’s great to hear that their music is just as fun as their name and “Romantic Type” is sure be a hit.

The Pigeon Detectives have been around since 2002, but seemed to have hit the mainstream circuit last year when they began receiving radio airplay on BBC Radio One and also played at the Reading and Leeds festivals. I’ll be looking forward to hearing more from them in the future.
