Dirty Little Secret is a live rock and burlesque night, the two worlds colliding to ignite the stage in an explosion of decadence and downright dirty rock ‘n’ roll fun. Three bands will perform together with three burlesque performers, chemistry made in heaven creating a feast for the senses.

What’s the Dirty Little Secret? It’s the mystery headline band, only revealed on the night, when they will perform with Miss Trixee Sparkle at the top of the bill.

The inaugural show, set to take place Wednesday 1st October, 2008 at Madame Jojo’s in Soho, London, presents a superb lineup of beautiful vixens and young lords of pop, with special guest DJ The Buzzcocks’ Chris Remington.

First band: The Bleeps performing with Kitty Bang Bang

The Bleeps
This Essex garage-pop two-piece has been compared to Beck and The Beastie Boys, making enough noise to fool you into thinking there’s ten of them. With tonight’s sizzling burlesque partner, the chemistry will be explosive!
“Anyone who’s seen The Bleeps live will know what a treat they are. Bringing a sound which is seemingly both lo-fi and complex, it always seems impressive that there’s just two of them” - Artrocker.
“Massive drums, wired guitars and dirty bass … spectacular two-minute blast of post-Pixies pop.” - Rough Trade.

Kitty Bang Bang
Kitty is a very foxy lady indeed - expect a spine-tingling performance of unadulterated sensuality.

Second band: Men and Gods performing with Vicky Butterfly

Men and Gods

Men and Gods
This experimental four-piece has quite a pedigree: front man Marc Eden, after working with Slash was described by him as “one of the greatest rock ‘n’ roll singers I have ever heard”. Men and Gods practise some strange musical voodoo on the entranced crowds watching them. It’s powerful stuff, and tonight’s performance with Miss Butterfly is guaranteed to be memorable.

Vicky Butterfly
Once seen, you will never forget the exquisite Vicky Butterfly, a Carnival Queen with a show-stopping 17″ corseted waist; she is a doll, a butterfly, a peacock, a swan, a silver-screen siren, a living Klimt painting, a sorcerer; fusing old-school glamour with the surreal as well as a modern sense of fun. A trained visual artist, her costumes are surpassingly beautiful, and her background in ballet, tap, circus, drama and opera explains her extensive repertoire and skills as a dancer.
“She has the extraordinary curves, the bee-waist and ripe thighs of a Regency poule de luxe crossed with a Bettie Page vixen’s face” - Marina O’Loughlin, Metro.
“A real innovator … with a bewitching dose of fairy-tale surrealism that stands her sharply apart from the crowd.” - Metro.
“Already threatening to achieve legendary diva status, this classic, mysterious siren is leaving us breathless.” - Bizzarre Magazine.

Headline band: Mystery band performing with Trixee Sparkle

Trixee Sparkle
Pure bump ‘n’ grind showgirl dazzle, Trixee will be lighting up the stage tonight with irresistable sauciness, tongue firmly in cheek, the perfect partner for the headlining band - (almost) all will be revealed on the night!
